These photos were taken in February 2019. The Quay in Sandwich is always lovely no matter the time of year.
In the background of the photo above is the Salutation, a beautiful Lutyens house, with lovely gardens which are normally open to the public. Hopefully it will re-open after the lockdown
Although the trees were bare, it was lovely to see the shapes of them.
Always lovely to see the sun in February :)
The willow trees along the river side.
A lovely place to sit in the summer :)
Looking towards the town.
The leaning of the trees shows the prevelant wind direction.
The river is to the left, behind the line of trees.
The River Stour, looking downriver
Looking upriver to the Toll Bridge
Photo taken from the Toll Bridge looking in both directions :)
Sandwich is a lovely place at any time of the year, hopefully this second lockdown won't last too long, then I will be able to visit again :)
