Pebble Art and a rough sea.

IMG_8160

Bank Holiday Monday and the sun was shining, great! But there was a howling Easterly wind blowing straight off the sea and it was freezing!! I suppose it only to be expected of an Easter weekend, and I needed to get some air, so early afternoon I madly decided to have a walk. It was a short walk but it really blew the cobwebs away!

In front of the Cafe on The Green someone had done some pebble art, it was very well done and lovely to see.

I walked on to the beach near the Lifeboat House, took a few photos then more or less went straight home. I hope we get sunshine and some warmth soon, we need it after the horrible winter we have had.

The seagulls were enjoying the weather.

Can you see the pebbles being dislodged by the sea? I don’t think I have ever noticed this before.

I hope you all had a really good Easter Smile

  2. Oooo, lovely. I could feel the wind whipping the waves up. Wish I lived by the sea and could be there during the different seasons.

  3. Oh wow! I have never seen anything like that pebble art before! So very very cool! And I love seeing what your beaches look like--so different from us in California!

    1. I have never seen pebble art up there before Beckie, so it was something different for me too. There was obviously a lot of work put into the art, nice that people take the time to do things like this :)

  5. Glad you went for a walk, great photos. We can have tremendously cold winds here, & hours later a warm breeze, it quite crazy! Thanks for your recent visit with warm wishes, I should be on the mend soon.

  7. I like those wave pictures - it's one of the delights of digital photography that you can just snap away at the sea till your heart's content. Every photo seems different.
