End of the Year Blog, part 2, July–December 2013

Sunset over Deal, one of my favourite photos Smile

Here we go with the second half of the year, I was without my laptop for about 2 months, and I think I am still catching up with myself regarding photos!

July

My daughter Alice on her Graduation day, she was determined to get her photo with this statue!

A rose in my garden, this one makes me smile in the middle of Winter Smile

The Shell Grotto, Margate. I love this place and visited it twice this year, once with my daughter and once with my photo buddy Sheila (we won’t mention the long winter afternoon Sheila and I spent driving round in circles to find the Grotto, only to find it was closed for the Winter……)

An extra photo for this month, my lovely cat Misty, now 15 years old and starting to look and act her age. I love her to bits!

August

A beautiful owl, photo taken at Wingham Wildlife Park.

St.Peter’s Church, Sandwich.

Taking a bath together Smile

September

Lunch in The Mermaid Hotel, Rye, to celebrate my sister in laws birthday.

One of the beautiful Sunflowers in the Library Garden.

Hollyhocks, Sandwich.

October

Beautiful Deal, as seen from the end of the Pier on a sunny day.

Rough seas, looking South towards Kingsdown, another photo taken from the Pier.

Medieval building as seen from the ‘Ask Restaurant’, Canterbury.

November

Ruins of Walmer Court, next to Old St. Mary’s church, Walmer

Stormy sea, Kingsdown.

St. Andrew’s Church, Deal.

December

The flooded Children’s Playground, Sandwich. The Salutation Garden was also flooded, I hope they will be able to repair the damage very soon.

Peg doll Angels, painted and dressed by me. Christmas presents for various people Smile

This Camellia has bloomed in my garden for most of December, it is just beautiful.

The Greyfriars , Canterbury. This beautiful little building will the subject of my first blog in 2014 – I will straighten the photo up before then!!!

And finally,

HAPPY NEW YEAR

TO ALL MY LOVELY FRIENDS

EVERYWHERE,

HOPING 2014 IS A GOOD YEAR FOR YOU ALL
